Browser-Based End-To-End Encrypted Messaging

Send and receive highly sensitive messages, files, and documents securely with end-to-end encryption, using just your web browser. EncryptedSend is simple and intuitive to use, with no programs, apps, or plugins to install.

How It Works:

1 for EncryptedSend. Registration is free and takes less than five minutes. During registration, you'll create a secret key file, and you'll receive a link to a form that your contacts can use to send sensitive messages, files, and documents to you securely.
2 Provide the link that you received in step 1 to everyone that needs to send information to you securely. Or, simply include the link in your email signature, or post it on your website, blog, social media, etc. Your senders can now send messages, files, and documents to you securely via this link - it's as simple as sending an email.
3 You'll be notified whenever you receive a message through EncryptedSend. To access your messages, simply login to your account at EncryptedSend using the secret key file that you created in step 1.

All information sent through EncryptedSend is encrypted from end-to-end. Encryption takes place in the sender's web browser, and decryption takes place in the recipient's web browser, using client-side javascript running in both users' web browsers. Only encrypted information is sent through EncryptedSend's servers. Unencrypted information and the keys used to encrypt and decrypt this information never leave the sender's web browser or the recipient's web browser. This can be independently verified by using your browser to review the source code. For more information, please see our whitepaper.

EncryptedSend is provided as a free service by Meixler Technologies, Inc.

About

EncryptedSend is operated by Meixler Technologies, Inc. From 1998 to 2017, MTI operated the GreenFax.com internet-fax service. GreenFax was one of the first services of its kind, offering fax-to-email, email-to-fax and web-fax services to thousands of clients ranging from individual users to Fortune-500 companies. In 2017, GreenFax was successfully acquired by j2 Global Communications [NASDAQ:JCOM], parent company of eFax.com.

Over the years, we at MTI noticed that it seemed harder than it should be for individuals to exchange documents, files, and messages securely. Standard email is of course, unencrypted and therefore not secure. Public-key encryption tools like PGP and GPG can be used with email to send files securely, however, it requires a degree of technical know-how to use these tools. Companies like Dropbox and Citrix offer 'secure' cloud-based file transfer services, however, these services do not provide true end-to-end encryption. Apps like Signal and WhatsApp offer true end-to-end encryption, however both the sender and the recipient must have these apps installed on their devices in order to communicate securely. MTI felt that there must be a simpler way for users to exchange documents, files, and messages securely, with true end-to-end encryption, using just their web browser, without the need to install any software or programs. So, we set out to build a solution to meet this need. EncryptedSend is the result of our efforts.

EncryptedSend uses client-side javascript running in users' web browsers for all cryptography, so that information sent through EncryptedSend is encrypted from end-to-end. Encryption takes place in the sender's web browser, and decryption takes place in the recipient's web browser, so that only encrypted information is sent through EncryptedSend's servers. Unencrypted information and the keys used to encrypt and decrypt this information never leave the sender's web browser or the recipient's web browser. For more information on how the system works, please see our whitepaper.

MTI is seeking security experts and researchers who are interested in helping to review the code that drives EncryptedSend. Security experts and researchers interested in helping with this effort are invited to .
